Clubmark is an accreditation scheme for clubs with junior sections and is built around a set of core criteria to show clubs operate to a set of consistent, accepted and adopted operating standards. The club provides opportunities for young people aged 10 -16 with additional needs to receive coaching and take part in competitive sports. Previously club members have completed coaching sessions in football, tag rugby and golf with competitions arranged at the end of each coaching session.
The club runs at Woodford Park Leisure Centre on Tuesdays during term time from 4.30 – 5.30

Sailability was set up by the Royal Yachting Association (RYA) to ensure that adults and children with any form of disability have the opportunity to get afloat. Since Burghfield Sailing Club Sailability Group was founded 8 years ago, they have been very successful with some 20 to 30 people getting afloat each week. These include sailors with visual and hearing impairments, physical disabilities and learning difficulties.
